Plate II / 34 trimmed outside the engraving. Panels II / 31, 36, 38, 46 with remains of adhesive tape from a former passepartout outside the engraving. -- Die Tafeln I/22; II/1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 33, 35; IV/ 7, 10, 21, 22, 28, 38, 46, 54, 60, 69, 74, 76, 82 und 88 in einfacher verkleinerter Kopie ergänzt somit zumindest alles einfach vorhanden. Tafel II/34 ausserhalb des Stiches beschnitten. Tafeln II/31, 36, 38, 46 mit Resten von Klebestreifen von ehemaligem Passepartout ausserhalb des Stiches.
Folio (43.0 by 27.5 cm). Half leather strap with gold-embossed title on the back and wide leather corners, unfortunately almost all panels are detached and loose. As a result, a few sheets of text were completely or partially loosened and the rear inner joint opened. Somewhat finger- or brown-stained throughout. Again and again with old damp edges. Bound by us as follows: 7 pages title page, attribution, subscribers, 110 pages with 3 engraved subtitles and 189 of 212 (205 full-page) engraved plates as well as top and bottom vignette after William Kent. Working copy. -- Folio (43,0 : 27,5 cm). Halblederband mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel und breiten Lederecken, hier leider fast alle Tafeln rausgetrennt und lose anbei. Dadurch auch einige Textblätter ganz oder teilweise gelöst und das hintere Innengelenk geöffnet. Durchgehend etwas finger- oder braunfleckig. Immer wieder auch mit alten Feuchträndern. Bei uns wie folgt gebunden: 7 Blätter Titelei, Zueignung, Subscribenten, 110 Seiten mit 3 gestochenen Zwischentiteln und 189 von 212 (205 ganzseitigen) gestochenen Tafeln sowie Kopf- und Schlußvignette nach William Kent.
