Neatly removed copy from the University of Vienna with a gold-embossed, inconspicuous signature on the spine, stamp on the endpaper, title and page 1. No other markings. IV, 180 pages with many, some full-page text illustrations and 94, some double-page plates. Slightly finger-stained throughout, otherwise clean and free of entries. Checked page by page. In the plate section, the binding has been slightly opened several times, which has loosened it a little but is sufficiently firm, nothing is loose. A very good copy. -- 35,0 : 27,0 cm. Grüner Halbleinenband der Zeit mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel. Einband etwas berieben. Ecken und Kapitale bestoßen, mit bis zu 2 cm Einrissen. Ordentlich ausgeschiedenes Exemplar der Universität Wien mit einer goldgeprägten, unauffälligen Signatur auf dem Buchrücken, Stempel auf Vorsatz, Titel und Seite 1. Keine weiteren Markierungen. IV, 180 Seiten mit vielen, teils ganzseitigen Textabbildungen und 94, teils doppelblattgroße Tafeln. Durchgehend etwas fingerfleckig, sonst sauber und eintragungsfrei. Seite für Seite überprüft. Im Tafelteil die Bindung mehrfach leicht geöffnet, dadurch wenig gelockert, aber ausreichend fest, nichts lose. Durchaus gutes Exemplar
