1 from 600 copies "INTRODUCTION During this academic year, several distinguished artists will be visiting teachers-critics within the studio area of the Art Department. It was felt by both the Art Department and the University Art Galleries that the impact of these visiting artists would be enhanced by the presentation of some of their most recent work in the Art Galleries. Guy Williams will be presenting a selection of his paintings, drawings and photographs in the Art Galleries. In addition a selection of some of his writings is included within this catalogue. We hope that the exhibition and the accompanying catalogue will enrich not only the educational experience of students in the studio area, but will serve as an introduction of this important artist to the Santa Barbara region.".
