First plate handwritten signed and numbered by the artist. - Text in French and English. - The coloured plates show 8 cover titles of stories by Serge Clerc, edited by Champaka. - Serge Clerc (born 1957) is a French comic book artist and illustrator, who began his professional career in 1975 in the monthly magazine Métal Hurlant, after having created his own fanzine, Absolutely Live. In the early 1980s Clerc`s work regularly appeared in the British music magazines NME and Melody Maker. - Spine faded, edges partly minimaly rubbed, front cover somewhat rubbed, sheets in very good condition.
