MÁV Debreceni Jármüjavitó Kft. has been working in the field of repairer railway vehicles (steam locomotives, passenger carriages and wagons successfully since 1898. With our own personnel of 900 we are performing repair and maintenance works mainly for MAV (Hungarian State Railways). Our main activities are repair, renewal of towed vehicles, manufacturing er parts, repair of machine tools, cranes and repair of railway plate springs arc wheel sets as well. We perform a considerable activity at the renewal of railway vehicles or nostalgia character, representing museum value. Within the Hungarian State Railways we have the only internal washer equipment for tank wagons and a modern external washing equipment b wagons attached to sewage treatment units guaranteeing the observance a' strict environmental regulations. Our quality assurance system implemented in accordance with ISO 9002 provides for full and perfect satisfaction of our customers' requirements. Parallel with the orders placed by MÁV we are also fulfilling orders receives from other domestic and foreign partners, including the repair of tank wagons for gas transportation, tank wagons for transportation of dangerous materials (sulphuric acid, alkali), wagons for transportation of powders and other buk goods and wagons for passenger car transportation. We intend to use our experience gained at manufacturing of special railway wagons also to participate in international tenders to be announced for the development of railway vehicles. Therefore we actually are manufacturing truck transportation wagons of 10 axles, low construction type, on the basis of an ABB-HENSCHEL license. Utilising our tank manufacturing machine line we also undertake to manufacture new railway tank wagons and tanks for other purposes. Our company is provided with wide ranging technology, rendering cold and hot metal working, wood working (we have an electronically controlled kiln dryer), pipe assembly, steel structure manufacturing (cranes, transfer table), various consoles and naturally also the painting and varnishing of these products. Beyond the above activities we are leasing 165 of our own tank wagons for liquid material transportation (mineral oil, gasoline and their derivatives; etc.) ..."
