First american edition. - This double number of Verve contains the drawings made by Chagall in 1958 and 1959 on biblical themes. The heliogravure in black and white are printed by Draeger Frères and the lithographs in color by Mourlot Frères. - Edges partly a little rubbed respectively sraped, pages in the margins minimally browned and in the upper right corners very weakly bumped, barely to be seen.
